Hello everyone. so i'm a senior and for personal reasons i took a break this semester and am planning on returning in the spring semester which is my last semester to graduate. anyways, i didn't do a formal leave of absence form because previously you did not need to do it to take a break and could just enroll the next semester you plan to return. anyways, i found out that starting this semester, which is the exact semester i decided to take a break, they changed the policy so that if you didn't do a formal leave of absence and get it approved by the deadline, you have to apply for readmission to your program to continue your degree. they never notified us of this change that occured this semester, so you wouldn't have known unless you looked it up. and i assumed it was the same as all the previous years because when i looked it before the policy hadn't changed yet. but it was just recently changed for this semester. anyways, would there be any way that i could just enroll in classes without applying for readmission? there would be no reason why I wouldn't be accepted for readmission since i meet all the requirements but it's just very annoying that they decided to change the policy the exact semester I take a break and not any of the previous years, and then not clearly let us know of this policy change.
