It is actually quite funny. D's school announces ED/EA acceptance on their website each year from the principle. This year of course they are doing the same thing but they put Carleton as Carlton... I understand we are from CA (they only notice/care about the Ivies or the UC) and she is in a magnet program (IB) which is in a lower-middle income area (majority of kids just go to JC or CC if they decided to continue their education). But they don't even care to spend some time to look up the school's info? Shouldn't it be something for her high school to be proud of, right? They usually send less that a handful of kids to Ivies and top schools... I just can't stop shaking my head and I find it amusing every time I see the wrong spelling.
