Did it ever occur to you that for some students, a "C" is sometimes the best grade they can achieve? I'd be just as proud of my kid of if she/he had an after school job in the real world as I would if she/he were a straight A student without a job but a crap load of extracurriculars. Not all children fit a cookie cutter mold, and quite frankly, my friends children's grades (and vice versa) are not my concern.
