I just got accepted to attend an overnight at johns hopkins. The "application" process was not that hard, I just had to send in my school transcript.
My friend had done a much harder application process for Williams, and got into the overnight program and was subsequently accepted to the college in the spring.
My question is that since the process to getting in to johns hopkins was not as rigorous as other colleges, does that mean the college really isn't interested in me, or that getting in doesn't mean much for my chances of getting in? Was there really even a point in submitting my transcript? Additionally, will going to this overnight help my admission chances at all?
