I visit the websites of 2 public university , one is University of Wisconsin La Crosse, the other is University of Massachusetts Amherst, and find the cost of room and board are very different.
I do not know the living level difference in different states in the US.
I am suprised that :
U of W La crosse---- room $3500, meals $2350;
Umass Amherst Room/Board: $11,503 .
I know La crosse and Amherst are not big cities like New York .
Why are the cost so different?
